Primare's UFPD (Ultra Fast Power Device) is an advanced "audiophile" switch mode class D amplifier technology that is at the heart of the latest Primare integrated and multichannel video amplifiers. Unlike the high noise, limited bandwidth, load dependant peaking frequency response of most class D amplifiers, UFPD technology is low noise, wide bandwidth, load independant flat frequency response, with low THD throughout the entire audio band. In this robust UFPD technology, feedback is adjusted for operating conditions to maintain a consistent 26dB loop gain.

Primare's PFC (Power Factor Control) is another important technology that provides a clean sine wave to the UFPD amplifiers (which are efficient because they can take greater energy over a larger period of the mains power sine wave - assuming you have one) Additionally great isolation is provided so that the amplifier is virtually invisible to the mains supply and will not affect other equipment

All Primare components have a low power consumption standby mode and are supplied with a detachable IEC cord and full remote control. Available in titanium or black finishes.
