Established in the market for high-end audio racks, Rick Cox's small Canadian firm hand assembles distinctive custom furniture in several in house designs that can be adapted to your own requirements and built to order. RixRax stands are built of sturdy steel extrusions and tubing and are extremely rigid and very heavy indeed. Vibration isolating cones are used extensively and the whole frame is designed to be filled with stand for the ultimate in acoustic isolation for the best potential performance from premium high-end electronics.

There is no mistaking these as custom hand-built furniture that is individually design adjustable to house your premium components like a fitted suit. All of the joints in RixRax furniture are full welded "Tig" method and blended. The solid steel frame is designed to be filled with sand and transfer vibrational energy down to the floor. Where possible the steel extrusions are continuous with one another to allow the sand to flow through the entire frame - this is a unique RixRax feature. In most other systems the joints are blocked off.

MDF is used for the shelving for it's stability and internal energy damping. These are surfaced with carefully matched veneers, edged with matching solid wood and finished with a protective lacquer. Special veneer inlays are also available.
